FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions

What event experience do the musicians have?

  • Each musician has extensive experience performing for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hour, receptions, bar/bat mitzvahs, birthday parties, garden parties, concert series, dinners, and business events. We have performed for numerous inter-faith and non-traditional weddings as well as Protestant, Jewish, Catholic Mass and civil ceremonies.

How will I decide on the music for my event?

  • Like carefully chosen decor, music should be picked to compliment an event. We tailor our performance and repertoire to each situation and work with you to create the atmosphere you envision. We encourage you to talk through your thoughts and can offer suggestions and examples of music that will match the tone of your event.

Can I request special music?

  • Of course! This is your soundtrack. If we do not already have your request in our library we will locate it for you.

Can you play outdoors?

  • Yes, but weather can affect our instruments. Please contact us to discuss possibilities.

Can the musicians attend a rehearsal for my wedding?

  • Generally, it is not necessary for the musicians to be present at a wedding rehearsal. We are experienced in playing for all types of ceremonies and will coordinate with the officiant, Usher or Maître d’ on the day of the wedding. If you would like to contract the ensemble or part of the ensemble for a rehearsal, this may be arranged. Please note that a fee will be charged as a performance.
